Argonautic Entertainment / Argonautix is an entertainment label focused on the rebirth of hip hop while exploiting our Cali lifestyle & South Bay culture. Argonautix originates from the story of The Argonauts in Greek Mythology. The Argonauts were a team of chosen heroes who banded together on a ship called “The Argo”. Argonautix is heavily influenced by water, as water was the first big step to cross in finding new lands. We like to see ourselves as chosen heroes flowing against the current of the norm with the task to bring back Hip Hop in its truest form.

In the story of “The Argo”, the Argonauts were on a specific mission, which was to find the Golden Fleece. Being modern day Argonauts, aka the Yacht Klub, we too are on a journey to bring back what we call the Golden Era of Hip Hop. As cliché as that may sound, we have deep meaning to everything we do. We feel that true Hip Hop does not have to reside in a specific era, so our goal is to bring it back and make it ours.

Our work is our play, we’re just regular stoner kids with similar dreams and a unique love for the game. We take our work seriously but do it all for the fun of it. Representing Hawthorne, CA, home of the Beach boys, our South Bay / Summer Cali lifestyle is shown through our marijuana culture, skate/surf scene, laid back vibes, and specifically through our music. Although our music is for the love of it, we all have dreams to achieve, and that is to have our names known and our voices heard. We’re sailors on a deadly adventure and we plan to be here for a while.
